How do we make K-20 education relevant to workforce needs?

Preparing today’s students to become our state’s future workforce, K-12 schools, community colleges and higher education institutions must partner to provide a seamless pipeline through which workforce relevance is taught. In addition, it is essential for the business community to invest in its future workforce by working with schools to provide a framework for required skills. Also, they must also continue to increase opportunities for internships, job-shadowing and apprenticeship programs.
