Filling the Nursing Gap

Created to increase the number of Baccalaureate prepared nurses in North Carolina, the RIBN program is a partnership between community colleges and universities in western North Carolina to dually enroll students in a seamless four-year nursing curriculum. The program is working to fill the state’s nursing shortage and prepare nurses with the critical thinking, problem-solving and patient management skills necessary to navigate today’s complex healthcare delivery system.
